We worked together on the music and we put it all together in a short time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We tried to get a bit of a different sound to it with the acoustic guitar running through the song. I think this song is a bit of a stepping stone. We&#8217;ll see where it leads us.<br><br>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<br>I wrote this piece about all the hippies were old and failed to do what they wanted to do. And joined in with the rest of degenerate society, Unfortunately as I am over 60 I have become the victim of my own lyrics. May I have my Medicaid please?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now all the hippies are old<br>They changed society. By giving LSD to your dad<br>Now all the hippies are old<br>Running society into bankruptcy killing families there in Baghdad<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now all the hippies are old<br>Now they have changed their mind and it\u2019s quite all right to go to war<br>Now all the hippies are old<br>I think they\u2019re turning green but tell me; whom they\u2019re doing it for?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Casually strolling down the street, unwilling to admit they sold out<br>They raise their banner high to the sky while waiting for another hand out<br>The dreams they had for our society perished as the acid wore down<br>Now they accept what the government offers.
