He came into the studio with the idea for the song and we worked it out. he had some guitar parts for the verse in his head. I came up with the music for the chorus parts. As we were recording I asked John, &#8220;What&#8217;s with this? Can&#8217;t you make up your mind?&#8221; to which he replied, &#8220;That&#8217;s what the song is about!.&#8221;<br>The recording went fairly easily and we got some great guitar sounds on it.
